While it appears that Doom has the advantage over Jafar, one must consider that Jafar only had his “Most Powerful Sorcerer” powers for a fairly short period of time before becoming a Genie and being trapped by Aladdin. The limits to his abilities are unknown, but considering the origin of his abilities, it can be assumed that his magical limits surpass Doom’s. However, Doom still has the advantage of technology and intellect over Jafar.

The Scenario

This fight will take place in the Throne room at the Palace in Agrabah. There is nobody else present to interfere.

The Fight

Jafar and Doom stand on opposite sides of the vast hall. They toss taunts and boasts back and forth, both claiming to be the more powerful. Jafar, insulted by the insinuation that there might be one more powerful than he, raises his snake staff to blast his opponent with magical energy. Doom, unfazed, calmly allows his force field to dispense the attack. He retaliates, sending powerful bursts of magic back at Jafar. Jafar poofs into a cloud of smoke and reappears in a different spot, grinning smugly. He opens his mouth and breathes fire across the room, igniting everything it touches. Doom laughs at this display, levitating into the air and throwing more bursts of magical energy at his enemy.

Jafar, becoming enraged, transforms into a giant cobra and charges toward Doom, wrapping him in his coils and preparing to strike. The evil Doctor looks up, past the huge taunting snake-head, and opens portal to summon hundreds of minions down to attack the huge serpent. As Jafar turns his attentions to battle the new opponents, Doom frees himself, flying into the air, and blasts a huge smoldering hole through the snake’s head with a laser cannon. Doom wins.

The Outcome

Despite fairly even odds between the two as sorcerers, Doom has the advantage of advanced technology that Jafar cannot understand or predict, allowing him to win.
