Obviously, there are more Gargoyles in the Manhattan clan than there are Ninja Turtles. For the purpose of this matchup, the Gargoyles will choose 4 of their (arguably) best fighters. The Gargoyles have the advantage of gliding, providing them with a third dimensional direction for attack, which may enable them to get the drop on the Turtles. Also, while the Turtles have weapons, the Gargoyles are physically stronger and have sharp claws.
The fight will take place at night, due to the Gargoyle’s nocturnal nature. It will take place on the streets of New York. All civilians have been evacuated.
The sun sets. The stone shell surrounding the Gargoyles cracks and shatters, as the beasts come to life. The Turtles emerge from their subterranean home cautiously. In the dim light, the Gargoyles see as clear as day. One by one, they swoop down from their perch, aiming for a Turtle.
Broadway picks up Michaelangelo by the arms and swoops back into the air. Michaelangelo struggles against the iron-tight grip of the stronger creature, but cannot overcome. Broadway pins the Turtle to a wall with his feet-claws and begins pummeling his head. Michaelangelo manages to swing his legs up and kick off the Gargoyle, but with nothing holding him up any longer, he falls all the way back to the street. He is disoriented greatly, and as Broadway comes back to finish the job, he is unable to defend himself.
Meanwhile, the other Turtles were not caught so off-guard. Hearing the Gargoyles coming, the remaining 3 Turtles draw their weapons. Brooklyn faces off with Raphael, while Lexington bears down on Donatello, and Goliath fights Leonardo. Lexington clutches to Donatello’s head, clawing and biting the Turtle. Donatello brings up his bo-staff and knocks off the Gargoyle. Raphael slashes at Brooklyn with his sais, but Brooklyn dodges the swings and dives into the Turtle, knocking him to the ground. Brooklyn slashes across Raphael’s face with his claws, causing blood to blind the Turtle in one eye. As he kicks Brooklyn off, he goes into a berserk rage, blindly swinging and kicking at the Gargoyle. When he pauses to look, he notices that Brooklyn is no longer there. He spins around, seeing the Gargoyle nowhere. A shadow passes over his face as he looks up, slowly realizing. Brooklyn dives down and swiftly knocks out the Turtle.
Donatello jumps towards Lexington, bo-staff held high. He beats the small Gargoyle viciously, knocking him out. As he turns around to rejoin the fight, Michaelangelo falls from the sky and lands on top of him. Broadway soon follows, pummeling Michaelangelo into unconciousness, and proceeding to beat the pinned Donatello immediately after.
As this is happening, the two team leaders face off. Goliath dives into Leonardo, staying in close as to disable the turtle from effectively using his twin katanas. The huge Gargoyle punches the Turtle square in the face, knocking him down. Leonardo recovers quickly due to his extensive training, and slashes at the Gargoyle, tearing through the thin skin of his wings. Goliath is enraged and lunges towards Leonardo, disregarding the pain as the Turtle’s swords pierce his flesh. He grabs the Turtle by the throat and shakes him viciously, squeezing the air out of him and lifting him right off the ground. As the Turtle goes limp, Goliath tosses him to the ground. The Gargoyles stand victorious.
The Gargoyles prove to be stronger than the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, despite being unarmed. Their ability to glide and their enhanced strength allowed them to defeat their opponents.
